Linen: Compared to other bast fibers, the linen fiber is easily to separate and fine spinning, it was distinguished for laundry and clothing. The linen fiber is smooth and the
linen fabric contains little air, what makes linen lint-free and little susceptible to dirt and bacteria. This fiber is naturally free from bactericidal, almost antistatic and
dirt-repellent. Linen is able to absorb up to 35% humidity, and supports moisture-exchanges with the surrounding air, so it has a cooling effect. This is why the fabric is used for summer
clothing. The water retention on the surface is also the cause of the antistatic (and thus dirt-repellent) qualities. Comparing to cotton there is lee to no chemicals (fertilizers,
pesticides) used during the linen production..
Organic cotton: Guarantees an ecological cultivation of fibre. Neither pesticides nor chemical fertilizers are used and the genetic modification of seeds is forbidden. Not only
